Kate

Kate is the main character of the story. Kate is a very intuitive and intelligent character. At the very start of the book she shows that she understands the way the people in her life think. She notices a lot of small details, like her mom dressing up to impress Katherine. She notices the way that people look at her too, which is how she was able to determine that Trey liked her when they first met. Kate shows her cleverness several times throughout the book. She’s able to think her way out of most of the trouble she gets into, and she even quickly adjusts to using the CHRONOS device despite having no past experience with it.

Kate is very caring about her social circle. When the timeline changes she looks into Charlayne and even risks going to the Cyrist church just to see her again...
