Chapter 19

Kate discovers that Mick is actually a young Kiernan. He was raised on a Cyrist farm after Prudence helped his family. His father got a job as a fire fighter, but passed away during a vicious fire. Kiernan believes Prudence knew about it and could have warned him. With his help, Kate is able to get a moment alone with Katherine. She warns Katherine to return to headquarters and not to make her next jump, and then to go and see a doctor. Katherine is convinced because of the bracelet that Kate has. Simon appears and tries to go after Katherine, but Kate causes a panic by saying he has a gun, which foils his attempt. An angry Prudence confronts Kate. She reveals that she was there to save Katherine as well. If Katherine dies, Saul has power over Prudence since just...
