Summary

Chapter 11

Kate spends the next few weeks practicing how to use the CHRONOS device, getting ready to do test jumps. She also reads through more of Katherine’s journals, trying to figure out at what point Katherine might have been killed. Trey has been visiting her during the evenings. Kate and Trey have gotten much closer and even share a kiss during his first visit. She’s happy with him, but consistently afraid another time shift will occur and he’ll forget about her. Kate still misses her family and friends, too. She looks up Charlayne and finds a picture of her at a Cyrist church. Kate notes that she looks unhappy and subdued compared to the energetic person that Kate knew in the original timeline.
