Chapter 26: Love and Loneliness

After three months without Kellan, Kiera still struggles. Anna is getting ready to go out one day when Kiera notices a sparkle on her neck. Kiera asks, and Anna tells her it was stuck in with her things. She sees Kiera’s face and takes it off, realizing who it belongs to. After Anna leaves, she curls up on Kellan’s chair and cries over a sad movie. It is just ending when the door opens and Anna bursts in, grabbing her by the arm and dragging her into the bathroom. She slaps makeup on her and shoves her out the front door.
