Chapter 12: Innocent

Each morning, Kiera rises early to enjoy her alone time with Kellan. Despite being up late for work each night, the thought of him downstairs in the morning has her up and filled with happy anticipation each day at the thought of being close to him. She goes up to Denny who is getting ready for work, and he tells her about his boss, apologizing for complaining immediately afterward. She tells him she loves him for putting up with it all just for her and he assures her that he would take much worse in order to be with her. Kellan takes her to school, walking her to class and meeting her afterward with espresso in hand.
