Summary

Chapter 2: D-Bags

When Denny and Kiera finally make it downstairs, Kiera notices again how sparsely the house is decorated and resolves to do something about it. Kellan offers coffee which Denny refuses. Kiera accepts, and Kellan brings her one with cream and sugar. He sits down with her and they chat for a while. She asks him why he sings with such sexual overtones, and he laughs. This irritates and embarrasses her. He finally apologizes and asks Kiera if his singing offended her. She insists it didn’t, but it seems a bit excessive all the same. They talk about Denny and how they both met him, and Kellan says he owes Denny a lot, but doesn’t elaborate. Denny takes a shower. They unload the rest of the car and then head to the pier to Pike Place Market, enjoying the beauty...
