David Sherman

David Sherman is the youngest son of God. He is a musician, who attempted to join the formal churches of his older brothers. However, his quest to be a great musician and discover the music of Cross River pushed him out of the Church. After discovering the Riverbeat, he founded The Temple: a religious place and music school to teach people his findings. David begins the first story of the anthology with a mistrust of religion, his Father, and older brothers. However, he eventually develops his own spirituality and becomes similar to his Father. David becomes known as "Dave the Deity" or Master Deity, affirming he has filled his family legacy of being a spiritual leader. After the Temple is burnt down, David is heartbroken and no one in Cross River knows what become of him.
