The Waste Ground

The waste ground is the place near Featherbank from which Neil Spencer was abducted. The boy’s body is returned to the place where he was abducted after he is killed.

Featherbank

Featherbank is the name of the town to which Tom and Jake move when they decide they need to get a fresh start. Tom believes that it will be a safe place for them because even the name sounded safe.
