Summary

In Chapter 1, Apollo plummets to Earth and wakes up in a Manhattan dumpster. He is in tears, having been banished by Zeus. Apollo has a wallet with a hundred dollars in it and a license with his mortal name, Lester Papadopoulos. Apollo does not have his bow, quiver, or lyre. He is approached by two thugs, a blonde named Mikey and a redhead named Cade. Apollo tells them to offer him tribute, flee, or be destroyed. Mikey and Cade move toward him. Without his powers, Apollo is easily overcome.

In Chapter 2, Mikey and Cade mock Apollo as they beat him up and look at his wallet. Apollo is stunned that he is bleeding, as gods do not have blood but golden ichor. Cade and Mikey also note they were told by their boss to come and mug him. Just as Mikey and Cade are...
