Friendship

The novel explores friendship by showing that things are not always perfect between friends, that true friendship survives conflict and can grow stronger as a result of it, and that friendship has the power to change lives. The narrative explores these issues through the relationships Georgie has with Andy, Russ, Jeanie, his parents, and Andy’s grandmother.
