Summary

Chapter 12

Will showed Maddie to the small room where she would be staying. While she checked out her room, Will made chicken stew for dinner. After she ate, she returned to her room. Will promised that the next day would be a big day. Maddie had a hard time falling to sleep. She was upset at how grim and cranky her uncle was. She was also battling a lack of confidence. Her parents were both so accomplished. Could she ever measure up?

Maddie woke the next morning not knowing where she was at first. Will told the “Princess” that she had to use the outside washroom and that breakfast was in ten minutes.
