Ambition

Joel Saxon really wants to be a Rithmatist. Unfortunately, Rithmatists are chosen at the age of eight when a child goes through his inception ceremony. Joel missed his inception ceremony because his father was in a train accident the day before the ceremony and Joel chose to remain at his side. Joel had his inception ceremony six months later, but he did not enter the inception chamber because it was being repaired. For this reason, Joel lost his chance to become a Rithmatist.
