Summary

Chapter 11

As Joel makes his way to Fitch’s, he finds a group of adults outside the principal’s office. They are parents wanting to take their children home. Joel suggests to Exton that someone call Inspector Harding. Joel continues to Fitch’s office to find him still sleeping. As Joel leaves, he runs into a woman who was with the parents. Joel gives her directions to Fitch’s office.

Joel goes to the library to search through books he has recently read, hoping to find the symbol that seemed familiar to him. As Joel prepares to leave, he sees Nalizar go into the Rithmatist part of the library. Joel wants to see what Nalizar is looking at, but he cannot go into that part of the library without an escort.
