Section 10: Chapters 28-30 Summary

In Chapter 28: I Have a Date with the God of Toilet Paper, Iskandar appears at the Gates of the West and talks to Sadie for a bit about the fact that order and chaos are about to collide more violently than they have in eons and she and Carter will be instrumental in balancing the forces or destroying everything. Pronouncing that they have courage in abundance, he allows them to pass. When they reach the temple of the Hall of Judgment, Bast runs away when a jackal approaches, but the jackal transforms into Anubis who agrees to hear their request.
