Chapter 7 Summary

In Chapter Seven, James says Moses was allowed inside before he knew what was happening. Temple picks up her gun from the car and enters the house, tying Moses to a chair. Temple and Moses talk and she points out that she made sure Abraham wouldn't come back as a zombie. Moses thanks her for that but says it doesn't make up for killing him. Temple says she's going to leave Moses tied to the chair and she's going to leave. She says the Griersons will turn him loose in a day when she's had a chance to get away. She asks for his word that he won't hurt the Griersons and he promises. Temple prepares to say goodbye to Maury but encounters James before she can get out of the house.
