Lady Nicolaa

This Saxon runs her household since her brother is missing. Normans invade, but she fends them off until Royce comes. She uses her ingenuity and pretends to be a nun, escaping to the church. A strong woman, this character tries to escape many times on the way to London, and she has a hard time adjusting to life with the Normans. Even though she doesn't want to be there, she shows compassion when a Norman child is on fire, sacrificing herself to help the girl.

This character is very handy with a sling shot, and she can run a household. She is close to her brother, but shows trust for her husband when she allows him to take over the training of her brother. It's difficult for her, and she has a hard time not babying him as she sees him struggling to learn to fight with...
