Chapter 13 Summary

On Tuesday morning, after agreeing to go to Jan's house for dinner, Stacy goes to the high school to talk to the head guidance counselor, Mr. Dobbis, about her future studies. She feels good by the time she leaves his office, knowing it will be a lot of work but also knowing she can handle it. In the hallway, she runs into Tony, but when she asks about Tony being friends with Jarrod, Tony admits that Jarrod comes to his parties to supply drugs. When she asks about Jarrod's friends, Tony claims he has seen Jarrod with Jeff Clinton occasionally, causing Stacy to shiver. Everything seems wrong; Tony must be lying because it cannot be Jeff.
