Chapter 9 Summary

Stacy decides the call was a prank because no way would the real murderer call her. Jan and B. J. arrive to help Stacy get dressed. Jan gifts her with a red V-neck t-shirt while B. J. shrinks her jeans; Stacy cannot go as she is because she has something to live up to since she is Sleeping Beauty coming back to the world and needs to make an impact on it. When the girls finally reveal their finished project, Stacy laughs in delighted shock at her image in the mirror because she is happy with how she looks. The phone rings again, and the same voice asks where Stacy is because the party has already started and he is waiting for her.
