Summary

In Part 3, Chapter 7, Molly takes Viv and Ben to a grassy median near the downtown area. She nurses Ben while Viv plays among the grass and trees. However, Ben soon defecates in his diaper, and Molly has no extra diapers with her. In Chapter 8, Molly’s husband David calls on the phone. Molly resists the urge to tell David about Moll, as she knows it will sound unbelievable. In Chapter 9, Viv tries to be playful with Molly as Molly drives them home. Molly is too preoccupied to pay attention. In Chapter 10, they arrive at home, and Molly changes ben’s diaper. In Chapter 11, Molly prepares for Viv’s impending birthday party while Ben and Viv nap. In Chapters 12 and 13, Molly continues to prepare for the party, as she endures anxious thoughts of harm befalling Viv and Ben.
