Charlie can hear the men shouting. There seems to be no where to hide, and no escaping Hunter. He looks back at the sinkhole, worried about what he might run into, but the dog is closing in and he can't just stand there. Charlie has to lie flat in order to slide in feet first and the hole is narrow. He works his way in, feeling the cold as he pushes himself in deeper and deeper. Water and mud seep around his neck and face as he pushes himself the whole way in, hearing the dog and the guards closing in. His feet can find no purchase and he slides the rest of the way in. Finally, his feet find a small ledge, but he is unable...
