Summary

Kate walks through town trying to piece together her mystery in the chapter titled“Today, 12:41 p.m.” She knows that Dexter and Julia have known each other for twenty years. Kate is not sure what is going to happen. She does like the life she and Dexter have had in the past year living in Paris. She does not know how this knowledge of Dexter’s old connection with Julia might change it. She is hurt by Dexter’s betrayal, but she knows he ultimately loves her and their kids. She finally figures out the mystery.
