Chapter 20: Willo and Bird and Chapter 21: Blood and Roses Summary

Han spends hours searching for Dancer in the woods, but comes up empty. He finally finds him two days from camp just staring out at the water. Han tries to come up with suggestions but Dancer has already investigated most of them so finally Han tells him he'll go to Oden's Ford with him. At least that makes him grin. Han sees the way the Demonai watch Dancer, and doesn't like it. He keeps an eye on them as well, until Bird intercepts him with a warning. She tells Han that she will be leaving with the Demonai soon, but that Reid doesn't want to leave before Dancer has gone.
