Han stays on at Marisa Pines as long as he can before descending Hanalea, having sold everything but the snagwort. Now, he has coins in his purse, leatherwork and fabric in his pouch, enough smoked venison for a meal and some clan remedies to return with. He also still has the amulet at the bottom of his bag. On the way down, he stops at Lucius Frowsley's to pick up bottles of alcohol to take to town, and before Han leaves, Lucius asks him if he still has his cuffs on, insisting he see them.
