Han and Dancer go to the sulfur pits to collect rare sulfur lilies but finding only three they decide to head to Burnt Tree Meadow to hunt fellsdeer. A dozen are grazing there but above them a purple and green fire is burning. The fellsdeer run, escaping their arrows, and Han and Dancer are forced to dodge the flames behind a rocky prominence.
