Summary

Chapter 8 begins with Sinatra crooning “My Way” in the background (38). Sara explains her full name is Sara Ortega, she is an architect, born in the U.S., single, and working in Miami. Eduardo explains he lives in Miami and has spent his life trying to destroy the Community regime. Sara explains she has been to Cuba before, speaks Cuban Spanish and can pass as a native. Eduardo explains the Cuban government, that everyone works for it and makes the same money - $20 a month. There is poverty and malnutrition. Mac is still hesitant about security and safety, and Sara explains it is dangerous but the mission is personal for her and Eduardo.
