Chapters 33-41 Summary

In Chapter 33, Han wakes after an interminable amount of time being tortured. No permanent damage has been done, but Han suffers burns and blisters to his skin as well as several broken fingers. The worse of the torture took place while Crow possessed Han's body, but his future continues to look bleak. Now Han finds himself in a simple cell. Flinn is there too, mortally injured and clearly dying. Han speaks to him, but there is little they can do to comfort one another.

In Chapter 34, Raisa meets with Klemath and learns that he has teamed up with Montaigne, the king of Arden. An army from Arden is on its way to the Fells.
