Chapter 19 Summary

Harry attends a private conference that includes Assistant Chief Irving, Jerry Edgar, two detectives from Robber-Homicide and Lieutenant Hans Rollenberger. Harry is the last to arrive, and Irving gets right to it. They are going to take another look into the Dollmaker killings to try to determine who the copycat is. Harry explains the reasons that led him to the conclusion another man has been involved. It takes forty-five minutes for him to lay it all out, but when he is done, there are no disagreements. Irving asks Harry who he thinks is the most likely suspect, but Harry is reluctant to blurt out Ray Mora's name yet.
