Chapter 15 Summary

When Bosch gets to the courtroom, he tries to convince Belk to get a continuance, but Belk balks. He thinks Harry is trying to avoid being questioned by Chandler. Harry tries to tell him what's going on, but Belk won't listen. He tells Harry he can't control this trial, and that he'd better be prepared to get on the stand - period. Bosch gets angry and tells Belk that if they continue now, Chandler will make them both look like idiots. When Belk still won't even ask, Harry walks out for a smoke. He calls Edgar, who says RHD has taken all his files, and confirms he is still coming down at ten.
