Chapter 12 Summary

Bosch goes back to Robbery Homicide and types Cerrone's name into the computer. As he suspected, he was her pimp and has been busted several times since. On parole now, Cerrone has to keep his current address on file with his probation officer, so this is where Harry starts. When he finds the apartment listed for Tom, he finds a pregnant Mexican woman and her son. After questioning her, Bosch determines she is paying Tom a hundred dollars a week to live there and forward his mail. He asks if she has an emergency number for Cerrone, and she gives it to him, along with the mail accumulated since his last visit. He calls the communications department for the address that goes with the telephone number, and while he is waiting, a young girl approaches him asking if he wants a date. Bosch...
