Plum Island

Plum Island is the neighborhood where Rachel and Kylie live when they are dragged into The Chain. The neighborhood is near the water where there are houses that belong to people who only spend the summers there. Rachel finds one of these houses and that is where she and Pete hold Amelia. The author only describes the areas that have something to do with the novel, including Rachel's house, which is a modest two-story that needs work.

Heather's Basement

Kylie is held in Heather's basement until Rachel and Pete take care of their part of The Chain. The basement is relatively bare, and Kylie is chained to a stove there.
