Chapters 13-16 Summary

In chapter thirteen, Backman continues to force his will on his tutor, forcing him to change his teaching style even though Ermanno is not happy with Backman's forcefulness. Later, Backman goes to the university and finds Rudolph's office, leaving him a note to alert him to his visit. At the same time, Luigi meets with his supervisor and shows him the safe house where he plans to move Backman that night and the apartment next door where Luigi will be able to monitor Backman night and day. Backman is thrilled with the new apartment.
