Fire and Spun Gold and Search Summary

Everyone is surprised to see everyone else. Strabo tells Nightshade to leave because she is never welcome her. When Strabo finds out Nightshade has brought Ben Holiday to him, however, he changes his tune. Nightshade says only she and Strabo can see Ben for who he really is because they are older than the magic that masks his identity.

Nightshade tells Strabo she wants the bridle of gold in exchange for Ben. Strabo begins to bargain with her, trying to get her to take something else instead. Strabo finally admits that he doesn't have the bridle because he traded it to a sylph for the song she sang to him.
