Chapters 46-50 Summary

In chapter 46 Bobby and Frank travel through darkness studded with thousands of fireflies. The two men stop in a rain forest, then they travel again, landing in an apartment in San Diego, then to Frank's childhood home, with Frank's terror growing as they progress. The two teleport to a study where a man sits, Frank refers to him as Doc. Quickly they leave, arriving at a cemetery where Frank informs Bobby that his neighbor is buried, killed by Candy for being rude at the orders of their mother. Back to the study of Doc Fogarty, then to Frank's house where they arrive in the back yard. Violet is in the doorway and the pack of cats attack; Frank is able to get them out of there just in time.
