Chapters 16-20 Summary

In chapter 16, Frank cleans himself up, and drives to a motel. Eventually Frank falls asleep and is startled when he wakes up with blood on his hands and clothing, and scratches on his face. The busy motel would have made it impossible for him to enter the room in the state he is in without notice.

In chapter 17, Bobby and Julie walk on the beach and discussing The Dream. Julie knows that Thomas is bothered by a lot of people, but thinks a house on the beach would make him happy. Bobby still has feelings of unease, but brushes them off, telling his wife that they will be able to have their dreams and share them with Thomas.

In chapter 18 Candy wakes after sleeping all day. Upon waking Candy takes a shower and dresses. Leaving the bedroom he is greeted by a large group...
