Summary

In Chapter 17, because they have to turn in more paperwork dealing with their transfer, Riley goes to the administration building. While there, Riley see Vickers outside the counselor’s office. From his posture, Riley believes that he looks defeated. He recognizes Riley, but looks away. Vickers’ dad walks out of the counselor’s office and gives his son a sharp look. Riley sees that Vickers’ father is wearing the collar of a priest.

On Saturday, Riley logs onto the blog site to pass the time before the date with Bec. Riley is beginning to feel more sure of themselves while giving advice to others. Although Riley feels more feminine than ever in their real life, Riley worries that dressing as a girl might turn Bec off. Riley does compromise by fixing their hair in a more feminine way.
