Summary

In Chapter 1, Riley tries to begin a blog post. Riley knows the first thing that the reader will want to know is if they are a girl or boy. Riley, unable to finish the post, deletes it when their parents call them to take them to their first day at Park Hills High. Riley wears an outfit of jeans, a t-shirt and Doc Martens. It is Riley’s attempt to go neutral since they know the students at the new school will expect them to look the same every day.
