Elvis Cole

Elvis Cole is a private investigator in Los Angeles. Elvis is asked to help the defense in a murder case against Teddy Martin in the murder of his wife, Susan. Elvis is to investigate claims that the police officer who found the murder weapon might have planted the evidence in this case and a previous case. Elvis interviews man who accused the cop of planting counterfeit money on him, but finds that he is not credible. In fact, Elvis interviews the man's mother and finds her more credible as she tells a story that fits more with the officer's version of events than her own son's. Elvis is an honest investigator and he reports back to his client with the opinion that the cop in question is innocent.
