Chapters 19-22 Summary

In chapter 19, Lucy and Elvis go to Green's party. As soon as they arrive, Elvis seeks out Green to ask him about the Stuart Langolier connection to Truly. Green claims that Truly had no way of knowing that Langolier was Lester and once he found out, he reported it to the district attorney's office. When Elvis demands to know what information they have learned about Pritzik and Richards. Green tells him the two have been found dead. Finally Green accuses Elvis of not doing a good job in his investigation of Rossi and that his other investigators found that Rossi most likely did plant evidence in the Earle case and more than likely did so in the Martin case. Elvis becomes irate and quits his job, dragging Lucy home.
