Chapters 31-34 Summary

In chapter thirty-one Harry and the wolves advance toward the Stone Table. Near the table the group is confronted with Slate on horseback. Aurora is shocked that Harry is still alive and laughs when he tells her that Mab and Titania will not allow her plan to continue. The Summer lady orders her army to kill Harry and leaves. Around the group Summer's faeries and the Winter Knight charge as Harry loudly proclaims that he doesn't believe in faeries.

In chapter thirty-two Talos attacks and Meryl takes his sword, her anger at the Lord Marshal's betrayal of Lily evident. The changeling is wounded when Lloyd Slate attacks from behind. Harry calls the fury of the storm around him and lashes out at the Winter Knight. Talos charges and Harry is forced to face him. Talos disables Harry easily but Harry pulls...
