Chapters 26-30 Summary

In chapter twenty-six Harry finds the Mothers in a cabin in Nevernever. Winter and Summer agree to answer Harry's questions if he can answer a question for them, and he does. They refuse to answer his question directly. After some internal reflection Harry asks his question: how does the power of the Knight change hands? The Mothers tell him that the power returns to the nearest vessel of Summer, and they choose the new knight. Harry realizes that, as Titania has already started the war with Mab because she does not know where the power is, Aurora is responsible for the death of Ronald Reuel.
