Chapters 6-10 Summary

In chapter six, Wizard LaFortier reiterates the Red Court's call for Harry as a prisoner to stand trial. Harry argues that as a full wizard he is entitled to an investigation. LaFortier agrees, but states that Harry was never voted in as wizard, and perhaps his cowl should be revoked. The vote moves quickly with three votes for Harry and three against. The final vote is left to the Gatekeeper who states that he will wait for the messenger to report. On cue, a man is helped into the room who reports to one of the senior council that Queen Mab will allow passage through the Winter Court if one task is performed for her. The Gatekeeper addresses Harry privately, asking if he knows what the task is. Harry realizes that he has been set up. The Gatekeeper asks the date...
