Jonah Grayer

Jonah is Norah's twin brother. He is the more hot-headed of the two but is also more optimistic. Each time they take a soul, Jonah is elated at the situation and counts it a success. Norah is prone to evaluate the event and point out what almost went wrong, and what could have gone wrong. This always irritates Jonah, who doesn't want to talk about it and apparently doesn't think about it much until it's time for the next event.

Jonah plays several roles in the story. He pretends to be Norah's son when Nathan and Rita Bishop arrive. He doesn't appear at all when Gordon arrives until it's time to take Gordon's soul.
