Section 5: Chapter 17-19 Summary

In Chapter 17, Inda decides to swing by Raymond's house and leave a note asking him to return her t-shirt since she is in the area. When she realizes she does not have paper or a pen, she asks a girl parking a blue Miata to borrow the utensils. The girl, Chiquita, offers to loan them to Inda from the house. They walk down the street, laughing and chatting. Chiquita walks up to Raymond's door and searches for her keys. Refraining from anger, Inda acts like it is her first time in the apartment. When Chiquita walks in the bedroom, she screams and runs past Inda, out the front door. Raymond chases her, and his eyes bug out when he sees Inda.
