Chapter 23 Summary

The man that rescues Jared from the forest gives Jared water and builds a fire. The man talks about building a coat of wings out of the feathers that Jared sent through the portal. Jared asks the man if he is Sapphique. The man says it is the name he took on at the prison. The man also talks about finding the emergency door in the center of Incarceron where he was able to escape. Jared asks if any prisoner can find the door and Sapphique says that they all have to find it for themselves. Sapphique goes on to say that the prison is the universe for its prisoners.

Attia plots to get the glove back from Rix before Keiro can. Rix points out the seven narrow arches. One of them he says leads to the center of the prison.
