Chapter 2 Summary

Finn is living in a castle with his step-mother who is a queen. He was in prison prior to this, but someone freed him because he is supposedly Prince Giles. Prince Giles is in line to take over the thrown as King. Prince Giles is also betrothed to Claudia. As Claudia and Finn are rowing together in a boat, they notice the servants are setting up tables, linens and dishes for the Queen's luncheon. Prince Giles has a step-brother, Caspar, who seems to be a drunk and jealous of the fact that Giles is in line for the throne.
