Dan

Daniel “Dan” Crawford is the 17-year-old primary protagonist in the novel “Sanctum” by Madeleine Roux. Dan is good friends with Jordan and Abby, having met them at New Hampshire College Preparatory School the previous summer. They bonded not only out of friendship with one another but also through their experiences at Brookline Asylum.

Dan is haunted by nightmares of Brookline, and is dismayed to learn that Jordan and Abby are receiving scary carnival photos. He is likewise unhappy to visit Felix, who appears to have gone completely insane. Felix gives Dan coordinates for addresses, which Dan then relates to Abby and Jordan. The three of them decide to go back to Brookline under the guise of a college trip.

There, Dan comes to learn that he is the direct descendant of Warden Crawford, and that he has been lured to campus by Reyes and the Scarlets to undo...
