Chapters 29-37 Summary

Chapter 29. Jason and Nelson grow concerned over Kyle and Jason begins to realize how much both he and Nelson really rely on Kyle's strength. Jason talks to Nelson about his often risky behavior, such as telling the cowboys they were gay, and Nelson admits that he knows his actions are risky but he cannot always contain himself. The boys later stop at an all you can eat restaurant. Nelson eats way too much, sticking mostly to seafood. Kyle, however, refuses to eat more than a few bites. They continue their journey, attempting to make it to the Grand Canyon before they stop.

Chapter 30. Nelson becomes sick as they continue to drive. Kyle realizes Nelson has a fever and insists they stop at a hospital. Once in the hospital, Nelson rests in Jason's lap while Kyle deals with the paperwork. When Nelson becomes nauseous, Jason takes...
