Summary

Maya met Sue, Peter’s brother Jake’s girlfriend, and immediately resented her. Sue contributed to the family by helping with the cooking. Craving heroin, Maya tried to smoke a cigarette under the guise of calling her mother. Darren and Marcie eventually arrived, Peter’s aunt and uncle, and Maya had a moment of lighthearted humor with Darren. Facing severe abdominal pain from drug withdrawals, she tried to drink wine but was told that Grace has objections to alcohol, so she could only drink in certain parts of the house.
