Chapters 13 and 14 Summary

When Katie first turns around she mad and defensive toward Tommy. He says he's there because his grandmother says she called and when he called Katie's house, her dad said she was here. Katie asks Tommy what he was doing in Mr. Gatch's office. He asks what Mr. Gatch told her, and Katie realizes Tommy knows she asked Mr. Gatch because Tommy knows Katie so well. When she responds that it's none of her business, Tommy agrees.

Katie tells Tommy about the blanket attack she thinks the football team might be planning and he laughs. Suddenly, Tommy starts kissing Katie and picks her up and puts her on the hood of his Jeep. Katie feels as if Tommy is kissing her like no other guy has ever kissed her before. When they are finished, Tommy says he thinks Katie takes such great pictures of people...
