Chapter 8 Summary

As the ship sets sail, both Pitt and Borland are on-deck. Dirk thinks of the events of the last forty-eight hours, of all that has happened to him from assignation attempts to truth serum, of a lost island named Kanoli and a giant man with golden eyes, that George had told him about, who he has yet to meet. What is it that ties them all together? Is it something so obvious that they've all overlooked it? Borland calls Dirk to the bridge to inform him that they've entered the search area.

Borland takes Dirk to the Flash Gordon Room, a room packed with the latest modern electrical and technological equipment.
